The 1st Huron Sound And Arts Festival Runs Today

The newly-formed the Blyth Arts and Culture Initiative 14/19 is hosting a festival today that they hope will become an annual event.

Festival Director Scarlett Raczycki explains the objective of the Huron Sound and Art Festival is to showcase local musicians, give them a new venue and raise money to further promote local talent. Raszycki says they’ll have ten bands performing at the Clinton Raceway this afternoon and evening.

Two of them are from London and the rest from the Huron County area. They’ll also have an artisan fair featuring visual art and photography.

Raczycki points out the Huron Sound and Arts Festival is a family event for people of all ages and it gets underway this afternoon at the Clinton Raceway.
