ABCA Accepting Applications For Student Environmental Award

The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Foundation is now accepting applications for its Student Environmental Award.

The foundation presents an award of one thousand dollars each year to a student from one of the municipalities in the Ausable Bayfield Watershed, between the ages of 17 and 25, who is graduating from secondary school and pursuing post-secondary education in a field related to conservation.

Applicants are required to write a two-page essay outlining their experience in working on conservation-related projects in the past.

Applications can be made on-line at the ABCA web site and must be submitted by June 27.
