Stratford Man Arrested – Stolen Bicycle Recovered

Heading to court yesterday on a bicycle turned out to be the wrong move for a Stratford man.

A Stratford police officer noticed the 23-year-old riding a bike believed to be stolen.

The male riding the bike is known to police and it turned out the bicycle he was riding was the same one the officer had taken a report on earlier in the week as being stolen.

The rider was arrested for possession of stolen property and breaching his probation at the 100 St. Patrick St. court doors and walked to the police station where he was held for a bail hearing.
