Student senators for the Bluewater School Board say their voices are heard and valued.

The board has recognized its outgoing student senators for the past school year.  The board has 11 senators representing each of the secondary schools. Of those, three are elected by the students as trustees who sit at the board table and have a vote.

Reed Bell represents OSCVI and calls his role a two-way street.  He brings student concerns to the board but also provides students with information from the board and the reasons behind trustee decisions.

The secondary schools in the Bluewater board are currently in the process of selecting their student senators for the coming school year.
