Second Suspect Arrested In Hanover Theft
Hanover Police have arrested a second suspect in relation to a theft incident from Walmart on May 8th that left a Hanover police officer with a broken leg.
Police investigation determined that a female interfered and attempted to assist Christopher Weber avoid arrest while causing a disturbance by yelling and cursing at citizens who came to the aid of the police officer.
Monday, 49-year-old Celine St. Louis of Clifford, surrendered to police at the Hanover Police station and was charged with obstructing a peace officer and causing a disturbance.
Thirty-six-year-old Christopher Weber remains in custody and is scheduled to appear via video in Walkerton Court on May 27th.
Meanwhile, the injured Hanover officer underwent a second surgery at Victoria Hospital in London and was released from hospital last Saturday.
