Harriston Buggy Bypass May Stay

Minto may keep its buggy bypass open permanently in Harriston.
The bypass allowed horse and buggies to avoid the busy Highway 9 at the north end of Harriston.
The bypass down an abandoned rail line was originally opened to help horse and buggy traffic during reconstruction of Highway 9.
Minto Deputy Mayor Terry Fisk says the bypass is providing a needed service and ought to stay open.
