The South Bruce Grey health Centre invites Bruce and Grey county residents to learn simple steps towards preventing cancer.
Tomorrow’s session in Walkerton will include expert advice from Grey Bruce Medical Officer Dr. Hazel Lynn, Sheila Densham from the South West Regional Cancer Program, and Health Centre CEO Paul Rosebush.
Speakers will offer advice on how to reduce the risk and improve overall health.
In Ontario, someone is diagnosed with cancer every eight minutes.
About half of cancers can be prevented, or detected before they become a serious health problem.
The Community Health Forum starts at 7 at the Walkerton Legion.
