North Huron Economic Development Funds

The Municipality of North Huron will consider spending an extra 17-thousand dollars on economic development.

According to the agenda for tonight’s council meeting, council will consider a motion to approve the extra expenditure tonight.

The money will pay for a radio advertising campaign promoting North Huron as a great place to invest, live or visit.

It will also cover the cost of new signs and flags for the municipality.

And it will pay for appraisals on several properties to ensure they’re ready for commercial or industrial development.

Traffic count studies at the main intersections of Blyth, and Wingham will also be part of the plan.
