Wellington North Delays Hospital Funding Decision

Wellington North has not decided how much to give to the redevelopment of the Louise Marshall Hospital in Mount Forest.
The hospital foundation has asked Wellington North for $1-million. The foundation is trying to raise a total of $5-million in the community.
Wellington North Councillor Andy Lennox pushed councillors to wait and let Wellington County take the lead. He says it is tradition for the County to make such donations to hospital projects.
Mayor Ray Tout cautioned that $1-million may be a little to much for Wellington North taxpayers.
