New Owner for Seaforth Creamery Building

The former Seaforth Creamery has been sold. The new owner is Everspring Farms.

Everspring currently employs seven people in a smaller building on Railway Street in Seaforth.

Everspring owner Dale Donaldson says they are working with a number of other companies to develop what he calls ‘functional food products’. Thos are products that are very high in nutritional value.

Part of that process is developing gluten-free products and they’ll do that entirely in the former Creamery plant while maintaining their current facility for other food products.

Donaldson says it will be mid to late summer before they are processing in the new plant and they’ll add employees gradually as their market expands.
