The Huron Food Action Network is holding a public meeting in Wingham this week to guage what kind of interest there would be from residents in Morris-Turnberry and North Huron for a local farmers market.

Morris-Turnberry Mayor Paul Gowing says farmers markets benefit the whole community. He adds for every dollar spent at a farmers market, three dollars is spent in the community.

The ‘Mood for Food’ meeting is being held Wednesday evening in the Hot Stove Lounge at the North Huron Wescast Community Complex in Wingham, starting at 7:00.
