May 6, 2014 9:54am
Students from across the Upper Grand District School Board gather for a conference on mental health and the environment.
Tomorrow’s session at Linamar Centre in Guelph will involve over 200 students from schools across Wellington and Dufferin Counties, including Mount Forest, Palmerston, and Shelburne.
The Student Senate Conference is called “meeting Challenges Inside and Out.”
It will offer a variety of workshops on topics like stress, self image, relaxation, energy conservation, local food, addictions, and consumerism.
Students will be talking about solutions, and bring back information they can share with their schools and communities.
