Locally, officers will be accepting unused or expired medication at:
South Bruce OPP Detachment, Kincardine
Walkerton OPP Detachment, Brant Township
North Perth County OPP Detachment, Listowel
Perth County OPP Detachment, Sebringville
West Perth Fire Hall, Mitchell
Maitland Valley Medical Centre, Goderich
Bill’s Valu-Mart, Highway 26, east of Meaford
Owen Sound Police Station
Hanover Police Station
Wellington County OPP Operations Centre, Fergus
Bruce Peninsula OPP Detachment, Wiarton.
Saugeen Shores Police Service will also be part of the Prescription Drug Drop Off Day, between 9:00 and noon at the Port Elgin office.
In last year’s province-wide campaign, over 300 kilograms of medications were turned in by about 730 people.
