The Big Bike Event for the Heart and Stroke Foundation was held in Kincardine yesterday.
Participants pay $50 to get a seat on the massive bike and they also collect pledges.
Carol Potter, an area manager supporting Grey and Bruce Counties, said the event last year raised $95,000 throughout the two counties.
She said the the Big Bike event features 55 teams performing in nine venues over seven days. It’s the premier fund-raising event for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Potter says participants often have an heart or stroke story in their families and that can be the reason for their participation.
