Bayfield Arena Ice Revisited

The future of the ice at Bayfield arena is going into overtime.
The Bayfield Arena Community Partners made a presentation to Bluewater council last night, outlining plans to increase usage of the building and decrease the deficit carried by the arena. What they need now is a committee to carry out the plans.
The BACP says through proper marketing and communication within the community, their plan would see over 9 more hours of rentals weekly and justify keeping the ice in at the Bayfield Arena.
Bluewater council voted to have municipal staff take a look at the projections made by the BACP, and present their findings at a later meeting.
