Huron School Bus Driver Faces Impaired Charge
A school bus driver is facing a charge of impaired driving after a bus was stopped by police near Bluevale.
Huron County OPP say witnesses saw a school bus swerving outside of the marked lane onto the shoulder of the road and across the centre line into oncoming traffic. Officers were able to stop the school bus on Clyde Road in Bluevale.
Police say during a roadside test the driver registered a warn range suspension.
The 50-year-old man from Listowel had his license suspended for three days.
There were about 10 elementary aged children on the bus at the time.
