In keeping with today’s Christmas-like weather, Goderich councillor Michele Hansen has received permission from the County to project images onto the south wall of the County Courthouse prior to Christmas.

Hansen explains one of the members of the Goderich B-I-A came up with the idea as one more way to contribute to the Christmas feeling and draw more people to the downtown core.

They also got some advice from Huron East Mayor Bernie MacLellan who pointed out that Seaforth did the same thing last year on their town hall and discovered it doesn’t work as well on a red building. MacLellan felt the white wall of the courthouse would be much better.

Hansen says the project is still in the very early stages and they’re still working on creating the images but they’re already excited about Christmas.
