Brockton Infrastructure Needs Work
Brockton Council has received an average grade of ‘D plus’ for its asset management plan.
The plan looks at the value and condition of all municipal owned, structures, roads, and sewers.
Mayor David Inglis says the condition of the water lines is excellent, however their biggest area of concern is bridges and culverts.
To improve infrastructure, Inglis says one of the suggestions made to Brockton council is to increase taxes by two percent each year, for the next ten years. He says that is not something council is looking at doing.
