Goderich Supports Port To Point Trail Association

Goderich council and Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh have agreed to provide moral support to the port to Point Trail Association.
Municipal approval was required by the Ministry of Transportation before it would allow the right-of-way for the biking and hiking trail from Goderich to Point Farms Provincial Park.
Goderich CAO Larry McCabe says there is no funding commitment from either municipality. The cost for the trail is estimated to be about $500,000 and the trail association has promised to raise the money.
