South Huron Out of Hockeyville Competition

South Huron’s Community Services Manager says they’re a little disappointed they didn’t make it beyond the top 16 in this year’s Kraft Hockeyville competition.

But Jo-Anne Fields is also quick to point out they now have 25-thousand dollars that they didn’t have two weeks ago to go towards their dressing room renovations.

Fields explains they have enough girls playing hockey that they don’t have to play on a boys team, but they do need their own dressing rooms.

Right now they have four dressing rooms besides their junior team dressing room. The renovation will give them two more rooms and they very happy about that.
