Owen Sound Puts Fluoride Question on Ballot
The issue of fluoride in Owen Sound’s water will go on a ballot in this fall’s municipal election.
The city has had fluoride in its water since the 1960’s.
Those against it wanted the question of fluoridation put on the ballot and the decision had to come from Owen Sound council. The last plebiscite was in 1997 when a majority voted to keep fluoride in Owen Sound’s water.
