Huron-Kinloss Community Services wants input from residents and stakeholders

A community stakeholders meeting will be held at the Ripley-Huron Community Centre on Wednesday, June 14, at 7:00 p.m. by the Huron-Kinloss Community Services Department.

There's a lot to discuss including a parks and facilities business plan, lakeshore environmental business plan, Ripley recreation plans, and business plans for Point Clark Community Centre, Ripley-Huron Community Centre, and Ripley Cemetery.

The Lucknow and District Sports Complex is operated by the Lucknow Joint Recreation Board. The Ripley Arena is located in the Ripley-Huron Community Centre.

There are four beaches in the municipality at Boiler Beach, Bruce Beach, Lurgan Beach and Point Clark Beach. There are harbours at Point Clark and Pine River.

The township offers multiple sports venues including tennis, pickle ball, skateboarding, soccer, baseball basketball and volleyball. There are nine recreational trails, seven pavilions and 18 parks and playgrounds. There are also snowmobile trails and ATV trails available in the area.
