A local business is celebrating 150 years of operation.
Howick Mutual Insurance was established in 1873 by a small collective of area farmers to provide fire insurance for members. To celebrate 150 years, Howick Mutual Insurance will host a celebration at their office in Wingham on May 26 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.
There will be a short program at 2:00p.m. Cardiff BBQ of Brussels will be serving beef on a bun from 3:30 p.m until 5:30 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by local musician, Natalie Irwin. Policyholders and business partners are welcome to attend.
