On January 24 at 10:30 p.m., police were investigating a a stolen vehicle that was spotted at a gas bar at Canadian Tire in Stratford. Police confirmed the black Dodge Ram pickup that was seen at the gas bar was stolen from Parkhill, and identified a 27-year-old male from Mitchell as a known individual who was breaking their probation orders. A Stratford Police officer approached the male, who allegedly shoved the officer to the ground and got in the passenger seat of the truck. The driver, a 30-year-old female from Goderich, attempted to speed off while the officer attempted to get the male out of the vehicle.
