The Stratford Police Service reported that the suspect in a shooting that happened on Tuesday night has been located in London.
According to a tweet on Thursday night, the suspect male arrested without incident, and is being held in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
According to police, the shooting happened on Stratford Street just after 7:30 p.m. A victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police said an unknown male suspect shot the victim outside a residence on Stratford Street and then sped off in a white vehicle. Investigators said the shooting appeared to be targeted.
