Giving Tuesday was a big success for two local organizations.
The Wingham and District Hospital Foundation received a donation from McDonagh Insurance Brokers matched all donations to the foundation up to $10,000, and the community ended up raising over $56,000 for upgraded lab equipment at Wingham and District Hospital.
Additionally, the Huron Shores Hospice Giving Tuesday campaign had a fundraising goal of $10,000, which they blew by with a grand total of $19,746.
