The Chamber of Commerce for Goderich, North and Central Huron is now accepting nominations for its annual Spirit of Success Awards.
Operations Manager Heather Boa says the event will be held on November 25 at the Knights of Columbus Centre in Goderich and it's been three years since they've been able to celebrate with a live event, so they're very excited.
“We have a total to ten awards that will be handed out that night. Nine of them will be through a nomination process. The final award, which is the Business of the Year Award, will be selected by the judges," Boa says. “We have awards that deal with customer service, tourism and hospitality and the environment and technology. We have a new award this year, the Huron County Economic Development Diversity Award.”
Boa adds that nominations can be submitted by going to their web site at huronchamber.ca. The deadline for nominations is Friday, October 19 and eligible nominations can come from Goderich, Central Huron or North Huron and Chamber members or non-members can be nominated.
