Bluewater council is looking for more public input on a policy for short term rentals.

Mayor Paul Klopp says people can submit online or written comments now. But, he says, council wanted a public meeting and it was announced at this week’s meeting that there would be one in October. Klopp adds, his understanding is that that will be a zoom meeting out of the municipal office in Varna.

‚ÄúThere’s a public meeting. Right at this moment people can give an individual comment online and written. But we asked that there be a public meeting and that was just announced that it’s going to be in October,” Klopp shared.

Short term rentals have been a topic of discussion for a number of years now in many municipalities across the province.
