Cyclist dies after collision with vehicle

Police are reminding cyclists to be careful when sharing the road with vehicles after a recent fatal crash.

On August 26th just before 3 p.m., Perth County OPP officers responded to the scene of a crash on Line 34 in Perth East, alongside Perth County Paramedic Services, and the Perth East Fire Department. The crash was between a cyclist and a vehicle, and the cyclist was taken to a local hospital and then airlifted to London with life-threatening injuries, which later sadly claimed the cyclist's life. The cyclist has been identified as 19-year-old Perth East resident Reid Anderson.

Police say there are no pending charges expected regarding this incident.
