Police investigating destruction of Pride decorations

Wellington and Perth County OPP are investigating several incidents where Pride decorations have been destroyed.

Police say on the night of June 4th, suspects destroyed several Pride ribbons that decorated light standards on Main Street, Palmerston. On the night of June 12th, suspects damaged a Pride flag at a business on Mitchell Street South in Listowel and a Pride flag at a school in Listowel. Sometime between June 10th and June 13th, suspects damaged a Pride flag at a Drayton School, at a Harriston School and at a Moorefield School. On June 13th, police also received a report that unknown suspects damaged pride ribbons that decorated light standards in both Palmerston and Harriston.

If anyone has any information regarding these vandalisms or witnesses suspicious activity, contact Perth or Wellington County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
