The mayor of West Grey has announced she's filed her nomination papers for re-election.
"I am running for Mayor for another term because I believe West Grey continues to need the experienced leadership, knowledge and dedication that I provide and I will continue to work tirelessly for the citizens of West Grey," said Christine Robinson.
Robinson has over 35 years of government experience, serving as Mayor of the Municipality of West Grey and serving on Grey County council, both in her first term
"I am proud of the community building accomplishments under my leadership, however, we must keep going, there is more hard work ahead and I will carry on with the job of building a bright future for our community," added Robinson.
Robinson says her platform is focused on citizen-centered municipal government; continuing to improve existing municipal infrastructure and assets; and investing in our economic future.
"I am grateful for the opportunity to be Mayor of this wonderful municipality - I love West Grey, I love the citizens of West Grey and I am committed to serving West Grey to the best of my ability."
