Pair facing charges following break-and-enter investigation

A pair of people from Goderich are facing break-and-enter charges following a recent police investigation.

On December 17th at 1:21 p.m., Huron County OPP officers responded to the former Bluewater Youth Correctional facility located on Bluewater Highway after being called about two suspicious people on the property. Officers searched the area and they were able to locate both suspects on Union Road. Both suspects were placed under arrest and taken into custody. One of the suspects was searched and found to be in possession of suspected Methamphetamine. The other accused was found to be failing to comply with conditions of their probation sentence.

As a result, a 29-year-old and a 35-year-old, both from Goderich, are facing numerous charges including break-and-enter. Both of the accused have been released from custody with a court date scheduled for February 14th, 2022 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich to answer to the charges.
