Members of the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority Board approved next year's budget at their last meeting.
General Manager, Brian Horner, says they didn't have all of their board members at the meeting.
"We didn't have all of our board members, but everyone that was here, it was passed unanimously at the 2.43 per cent increase. It certainly was more than last year. Last year we actually had a decrease of .5 per cent, so in total, over two years we've only increased about a little less than two per cent."
Horner adds, over the two years that works out to be a little less than one per cent a year.
