Local Ag Society gets funding to support 2022 Fall Fair

The Owen Sound Agricultural Society has received a funding boost to help prepare for their 2022 Fall Fair.

Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MPP Bill Walker shared in a recent release that the Owen Sound Ag Society was receiving a $45,800 Community Building Fund grant from the Government of Ontario and which is being delivered by the Ontario Trillium Foundation. The year-long grant is designed to help non-profits with operating costs.

The grant will not only help the Owen Sound Ag Society with operating costs for the 2022 Fall Fair. Some of the grant will go towards purchasing more hand washing and sanitizer stations, as well as installing barriers to maintain physical distancing for all the Ag Society's events.
