Huron County OPP hoping the public can help Stuff a Cruiser this weekend

The Huron County OPP are asking the public to come and help fill up a police cruiser with food for the less fortunate.

This Saturday, December 4th, the Huron OPP Auxiliary Unit will be on site at the Zehr's plaza in Goderich for their annual "Stuff-a-Cruiser" event from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. The following Saturday, December 11th, the officers will be at Hansen's Your Independent Grocer in Exeter from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., as well.

The OPP Auxiliary Unit is looking to stuff as many cruisers as possible with help from the public. Financial donations will also be accepted. All donations this year are going to the Huron County Food Bank.

"The Huron OPP Auxiliary Unit is very proud to help and support our local community with initiatives such as the Christmas Stuff-a-Cruiser Event. The Auxiliary Unit is amazed by the continual support from our community to this much needed event. The needs are great in our community however the generosity and support shown year after year is much greater. In advance, I personally thank you for your generous donation, it is valued and greatly appreciated," says Huron OPP Provincial Constable and Auxiliary Liaison Brody Newbigging.
