Cyclones games postponed due to possible COVID-19 exposure

The Listowel Cyclones games on Friday and Saturday have been postponed following a possible contact with a positive case of COVID-19.

In a tweet, the Greater Ontario Hockey League says Listowel's home matchups tonight against the Kitchener-Waterloo Siskins and tomorrow's game against the Caledon Bombers will be played at a later date after members of the Cyclones having possibly had contact with a positive case.

Cyclones General Manager & Head Coach Jesse Cole tells CKNX "Players were in contact with someone that had tested positive this week. All of our players did rapid tests, and they were all negative. No players have symptoms. This is just a precautionary measure just to shut down this weekend to be safe for now, and follow the protocols when we get things in order. We personally haven't had anybody test positive from any of the tests we've done".
