Police seeking help identifying suspect involved in recent theft

Perth County OPP are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in a recent theft from a local business.

On September 7th, police were called after a it was discovered that a theft occurred at a business on Madison Street West in Monkton on Sunday, September 6th around 8:00 p.m. Three full propane tanks, used batteries, and brass caps for fire systems were taken, with an approximate loss of $900. The person of interest is described as male, 40-50-years-old, with short brown hair, wearing a camouflage hat and pants, a grey shirt with "A-5" on the back, brown boots or shoes, yellow work gloves and a neck gaiter style mask.

Anyone with any information regarding this theft should contact Perth County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
