Huron Shores Hospice receives donation from Bruce Power

Huron Shores Hospice has received a donation from Bruce Power leading up to the Hope for Hospice 2.0 - the ungala-gala event this Thursday, September 16th.

The hospice is hosting another virtual event this year due to the pandemic, and Bruce Power has given $25,000 toward the fundraising campaign. This year's event will feature a number of live performances done by local entertainers, as well as a silent auction. Huron Shores Hospice provides quality end-of-life care, at no cost, to residents of Saugeen Shores, Kincardine, Huron-Kinloss and surrounding areas.

Tickets for the event can be purchased at http://www.huronshoreshospice.ca.

“Bruce Power has been a supporter of the Huron Shores Hospice since day one, and this year is no different,” says Mike Rencheck, President and CEO of Bruce Power. “I would like to thank everyone who will join the virtual event to raise money for compassionate and dignified end-of-life care in our community.”

“We are so grateful for the continued support of Bruce Power and welcome their partnership in creating a world where end-of-life receives the same beauty, care and respect as the beginning, by creating moments that matter,” adds Cheryl Cottrill, Co- Chair of Huron Shores Hospice. “We thank Bruce Power for recognizing the importance of quality end-of-life care in our community.”
