Lake Huron Centre for Coastal Conservation hosting free trivia night with prizes

If you're looking a way to impress your friends with how much you know about Lake Huron, challenge them to next week's virtual Lake Huron Trivia Night, hosted by the Lake Huron Centre for Coastal Conservation.

And if bragging rights isn't enough incentive, it's free and there are prizes.

Coastal Stewardship Technician, Alyssa Bourassa, explains, they've partnered with A Greener Future, a charity based out of Oshawa.

"We partnered with A Greener Future and it's a charity based out of Oshawa and they work to preserve the environment through litter clean-ups, education and events. They gave us this idea. They've already done a few trivia nights with their team and they've helped us with this event."

Bourassa says the trivia questions all relate to the environment.

"It's all Lake Huron based, yes, environment based, but it's all specific to Lake Huron. It's just designed to increase your knowledge in a fun and collaborative way online."

She says the Trivia Night will be held from 8 p.m. till 9 p.m. next Thursday night, July 29th and people can either enter individually or as a team. They can register by going to the Lake Huron Centre web site.
