Saugeen Shores will host a Paralympic Marathon Qualifier this weekend.
Although final plans have not been released, it's believed athletes will make several laps through portions of Port Elgin, and that road closures will stall traffic through much of the area beginning Sunday at 7:00 a.m.
31-time Canadian champion Josh Cassidy, who grew up in Burgoyne, will participate in the event.
