County accepting applications for Summer Company Program

Huron County is now accepting applications for its Summer Company Program for students.

All local students aged 15-29 can apply to start their own business this summer. Successful applicants can get up to $3,000 in start up money, as well as business coaching throughout the summer. Huron County, in partnership with the province, will award up to five students the chance to launch their own business for the summer. Applications are open through May 23rd. To apply, individuals must determine if they are eligible and submit an online application inquiry. They will be connected with the local program provider, Huron County Economic Development, who will support individuals in submitting an online application, which includes a business plan and cash flow projections.
