A Hanover resident is $100,000 richer after playing OLG's Instant Bingo Doubler.
61-year-old Merlin MacKinnon of Hanover, who is retired, knew he had won something big as he scratched the ticket at home. He brought the winning ticket, which was purchased at Mac's on 10th Street in Hanover, back to the cashier for validation. The retired grandfather immediately called his sister in law to tell her of his big win.
Merlin, who sadly lost his wife earlier this year, believes the win is a gift from her, and plans to use the money to fund some of his home projects and consider some real estate options.
