Community Foundation Grey Bruce accepting applications for two student award grants

Community Foundation Grey Bruce is now accepting applications for two grant awards for students.

The Janice Bye Memorial Award of up to $784 will help a special needs student for occupational, physical and speech-language therapy services and/or associated equipment that will help facilitate the student's integration and inclusion, increasing productivity, and boosting confidence in his/her educational institution or chosen workplace.

The student must be graduating from high school and going to either post-secondary or a workplace setting, or transitioning into high school from Grade 8 or transitioning from grade 6 into senior public school.

The Grey Bruce Community Health Award of $1,000 will be given to a graduating Grey Bruce student that is leaving high school or pursuing an education and a career related to community health.

Applications can be found online under the students tab on http://www.communityfoundationgreybruce.com. The deadline for applications is October 30.
