Community Foundation Grey Bruce is now accepting applications for two grant awards for students.
The Janice Bye Memorial Award of up to $784 will help a special needs student for occupational, physical and speech-language therapy services and/or associated equipment that will help facilitate the student's integration and inclusion, increasing productivity, and boosting confidence in his/her educational institution or chosen workplace.
The student must be graduating from high school and going to either post-secondary or a workplace setting, or transitioning into high school from Grade 8 or transitioning from grade 6 into senior public school.
The Grey Bruce Community Health Award of $1,000 will be given to a graduating Grey Bruce student that is leaving high school or pursuing an education and a career related to community health.
