An Owen Sound man appears in court on Monday for a bail hearing, after a home invasion at a west side residence Sunday night.
A police investigation determined that a man entered his neighbour’s residence without permission at around 8 p.m.
Once inside, the man is alleged to have assaulted three female occupants and then stole a pet.
One woman was treated in hospital for a broken rib.
A 42-year-old man was arrested a short time later. He's facing charges of break and enter, robbery and assault.
