Updated: Pickup truck found off roadway west of Guelph, deceased identified

Provincial police are identifying a man killed in a collision involving a pick-up truck in Guelph-Eramosa.
Police say a passerby had spotted the damaged vehicle in heavy bush, well off the road at the intersection of Guelph Town Line and Lerch Road early yesterday afternoon.
The truck was severely damaged and the driver was found to be deceased.
He is now being identified as 47-year-old David Frank Douglas Watters of Kitchener. The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
Wellington County OPP are trying to identify the driver of a pickup who was killed in a crash Monday in a remote wooded area.
A passerby spotted a damaged vehicle well of the road, lodged in a wooded area around 1:00 p.m. Monday.
The crash was near the intersection of Woolwich-Guelph Town Line and Lerch Road, west of the City of Guelph.
The OPP found a deceased occupant in the severely damaged Ford pickup truck. Investigators are attempting to identify the individual, as well as the cause of the collision.
Wellington County OPP is asking anyone who may have witnessed this collision to call them.
