Six Grey County residents are facing drug possession charges following the execution of a search warrant this week in Hanover.

Members of the OPP Community Street Crimes Unit, Hanover Police Service, West Grey Police Service, and South Bruce OPP converged on a property along 12th Street.

Officers seized methamphetamine and fentanyl, along with a high capacity magazine for a firearm, digital scales, and brass knuckles.

Six arrests were made. Four were from Hanover, including two women, aged 30 and 40, and two men, aged 27 and 19. A 29-year-old woman from West Grey and a 37-year-old man from Grey Highlands were also taken into custody.

All six are charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of fentanyl.

Additional charges of unauthorized possession of a weapon and possession of a prohibited device were laid against two of the suspects.
