The discovery of a body in Exeter a month-and-a-half ago has been confirmed by Huron County OPP as that of a missing South Huron man.
Quintin Smith, 23, had been the subject of a missing person investigation that started a few weeks earlier in South Huron.
Family members reported him missing on September 23 and police launched a sweeping search at that time.
On October 21, the body of a man was discovered in a wooded area in Exeter near a steep embankment adjacent to the railroad tracks. He was found underneath an all-terrain vehicle.
The subsequent investigation determined that Quintin Smith died as a result of injuries sustained in the ATV rollover crash.
