The high winds and ice build up are causing major outages in the region.
All Westario Power customers in Port Elgin and Southampton are currently experiencing an unplanned outage as the result of loss of supply from Hydro One Networks.
The estimated time of restoration is currently unknown. There are other spotty outages across the region, including Saugeen Shores. Expect more outages as the freezing rain and ice persists.
