Local group hosting dinner served by local students

The North Perth Community of Character group is hosting a special event next week.

The "Together We're Better" event will feature a spaghetti dinner, served by students from the Me to We and Faith in Action Clubs at the local schools, and a special guest speaker. Local resident Wayne Drudge will share stories about his efforts with Shelter Canada building homes for those less fortunate in El Salvador. There will also be live entertainment courtesy of the Westfield Public School band.

The event is open to everyone and will be held on Tuesday, November 5 at the Listowel Ag Hall. Dinner tickets are $10 for adults and $5 per child with dinner being served at 5:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at any branch of the North Perth Public Library. Those who are unable to make it in time for dinner are encouraged to come at 7 p.m., with no ticket required, to enjoy the music and speaker.
