F.E. Madill hosts Huron-Bruce all candidates meeting

A Huron-Bruce all candidates meeting was held at F.E. Madill Secondary School in Wingham on Tuesday morning.

Liberal candidate Allan Thompson, NDP candidate Tony McQuail and Conservative candidate Ben Lobb were at the meeting. People's Party of Canada candidate Kevin Klerks was sick while Green Party candidate Nicholas Wendler did not attend due to a transportation issue.

The crowd of high school students had several well-informed questions for the candidates, focusing on issues including climate change, gun control, immigration and employment opportunities locally.

This was the sixth all-candidates meeting in Huron-Bruce, with a seventh planned for this evening in Teeswater.
